Field Course in Resource Management & Sustainable Development
(Costa Rica and Nicaragua)

 
 

Please type your answers, obtain required signatures, including parent waiver and return the application to ICADS as soon as possible. You may submit the application via Internet, but you should also send us the hard copy.

Include an official copy of your academic record.

Obtain two letters of recommendation. At least one should be from faculty member at your college. If possible, it should be from a professor in an area pertinent to the program's academic content. The second could be from an academic administrator or other college faculty member who knows you well, or from an organization (i.e.: sanctuary, solidarity, environmental, women's group, church, etc) with which you are affiliated.

This program places emphasis on independent field research and work. You are bly urged to consult with appropriate faculty members on your home campus about a project before departure for Central America.
